Receiving a favor back

This weekend I went to visit Maria. As she was showing me around her house I noticed an old guitar. She than told me that she knows how to play, which surprised me since I know Maria for almost a year and she never mentioned anything. As she noticed that I was very enthusiastic about it, she promised to teach me how to play the guitar as a favor because last year I borrowed her some money in order to buy a car for her parents
